The family members disperse, and Vidya urges Armaan to refrain from further insulting Maasa. Armaan, however, questions the restriction on Charu pursuing a job, sparking Vidya’s curiosity about his sudden concern.
Ruhi, attempting to alleviate Charu’s stress, suggests engaging in drawing. As they draw, Ruhi shares childhood memories, and Abhira, present in the room, jokes about the family’s outdated beliefs. The tension escalates, leading Abhira to vent her frustration about the family’s archaic mindset.
Armaan, sensing Abhira’s agitation, offers her water, but she retaliates humorously. Concerned about Charu, Armaan assures Abhira that he will handle the situation, keeping his promise to her mother. The complexity of relationships within the family becomes apparent, with Abhira emphasizing her allegiance to her mother’s dreams over the family’s traditions.
The following day, Dadi announces an invitation from an NGO and requests Ruhi’s presence. Abhira witnesses Ruhi feeling dizzy due to strong medication and supports her, advising her to refrain from fainting during the event. Armaan follows Abhira to address the issue, and tensions rise as Abhira recalls Dadi’s harsh words.
Abhira, cutting onions, reflects on Dadi’s words, and Armaan attempts to pacify her, urging her to stay silent in front of Dadi. Meanwhile, the family engages in a card game, and Armaan deliberately loses to bring a smile to Ruhi’s face. Later, Dadi’s interview garners praise on social media, and the family celebrates. Abhira seizes the opportunity to request Dadi for permission to complete her studies and pursue a job. Dadi, however, adamantly rejects the request.
